How do I use Somfy Protect on Apple CarPlay®?
CarPlay is compatible with the Somfy Protect app from version 5.4.0.
Installing the Somfy Protect App on CarPlay
Connect your smartphone to your car in the usual way.
Once connected, search for the Somfy Protect application.
What functions are available?
My site includes a Somfy Home Alarm, Essential or Advanced security system without connected videophone
From my vehicle, I can control:
- Activation of my security system
- Night mode activation of my security system
- Deactivation of my security system
My site includes a Somfy Home Alarm, Essential or Advanced security system with connected videophone
From my vehicle, I can control:
- Activation of my security system
- Night mode activation of my security system
- Deactivation of my security system
- Control the gate opener
- Control the strike
- Launch up to 2 scenarios from TaHoma app associated with the connected videophone
My site includes a Somfy connected videophone without Security system and Camera
From my vehicle, I can control:
- Control the gate opener
- Control the strike
- Launch up to 2 scenarios from TaHoma app associated with the connected videophone
My site includes a Somfy Camera without Security system and connected videophone
From my vehicle, I can control:
- Surveillance activation
- Surveillance deactivation
My site includes a Somfy camera and a connected videophone without Security system
From my vehicle, I can control:
- Surveillance activation
- Surveillance deactivation
- Control the gate opener
- Control the strike
- Launch up to 2 scenarios from TaHoma app associated with the connected videophone
If several sites are associated with your account, switching can only be done via the Somfy Protect app on your smartphone.
